Overview

Combination of stratiform Cu-Fe sulfide and Fe-oxide ores with recoverable amounts of Au and Ag. Fe-oxide ore contains 0.24% Cu. Reserves 2007: 458 million t iron ore, 1.35 million t Cu, 12 t Au at 25-50% Fe, 0.60-0.52% Cu (Geological Survey of Japan, 2007). Kung-Dian Proterozoic spilite-keratophyre belt.
