Overview

Massive, stringer. Series of en-echelon lenses. Stringer zone as irregular pod-like masses of Cu within a much longer network of quartz-carbonate and pyrite-pyrrhotite stringers (10-25% sulfides). Exposed at surface. Tholeiitic andesite and basalt and high-silica rhyolite. Mature back-arc rift basin associated with mantle plume.
