Overview

Massive, vein or lens, interlacing seams, forming small stockworks, impregnation of the country rock. Chinaman Lode is the main ore body extends to depths of at least 198 m. Surface gossans. Mining by the Chinese ended about 1868, and redeveloped by the Europeans starting in 1901. Possible rifted continental shelf.
